CyclErie Completes Expansion: Larger Erie Showroom Brings More eBikes and Direct Trail Access

Erie, Colorado – January 16, 2026CyclErie, the town’s original bike shop, has finished a significant renovation at 515 Briggs Street, doubling the retail floor space to better serve northern Colorado riders.

The expanded showroom now holds a wider range of eBikes from Aventon, Specialized Turbo, Bulls, Gazelle, Benno, and Salsa, plus more room for accessories, parts, and service drop-off. Customers can browse, compare models, and walk straight out the door for a real test ride—no parking-lot loops required.

Located right beside Coal Creek Park, the shop opens directly onto the Coal Creek Trail (paved and crushed gravel paths start less than 100 yards away). Erie Singletrack is just a quick 10-minute ride out, making CyclErie one of the only places in the Front Range where you can test commuter, cargo, or mountain eBikes on the actual trails you’ll ride every day.

Co-owner Dan Johnson said, “We’ve grown steadily since opening in 2022 because more people are discovering how much fun eBikes add to daily rides and weekend adventures. The extra space means we can keep more bikes in stock and give riders the room they need to find the perfect fit before trying it on local paths.”

True to its beginnings—kids’ cycling camps started in 2020—Cyclerie continues seasonal youth programs through its 501(c)(3) non-profit, CyclErie Devo, with the same goal of getting families outside together.

The newly expanded shop is open five days a week. Stop by anytime for a test ride on the trails right outside the door.
