Martin Ogle is a naturalist, energy educator and Earth scientist with a passion for business! He started Geo sapiens to integrate environmental and energy understanding with ALL careers. Martin received B.S. and M.S. degrees in wildlife Biology from Colorado State Univ. and Virginia Tech. He was Chief Naturalist for the No. VA Regional Park Authority, 1985 – 2012. He received awards in informal education and in sustainability while in VA. In 2012, Martin moved to CO and, among other work, started and ran Lafayette Open Space’s education program until 2024. In Lafayette, he led the effort to designate Lafayette as Colorado's first "Bird City." Martin was born and raised in South Korea and now lives in Louisville, CO.
