Customer Service Representative Job Description 

We are currently growing leaps and bounds, and our Client Service Department is looking for full-time and part-time representatives to join the team. In this department, you will work alongside the specialty doctors and nurses in a fast-paced department that serves the local canines and felines of Colorado.  

 

Major Duties 

  • Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital 

  • Scheduling appointments for multiple specialties we offer  

  • Discuss finances with clients and address concerns, in addition to processing payments 

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all inbound calls and email  

  • Medical record management; including communicating with other veterinary clinics to share medical records in order to maximize health outcomes for our patients 

  • Professional, friendly demeanor with a customer-oriented attitude 

  • Punctuality and attendance are essential to be successful in this organization. 

 

Required Knowledge and Skills 

  • Good communication and listening skills 

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving  

  • Basic math  

  • You are skilled in calmly defusing difficult situations   

  • You answer the phone with a smile, ready to handle whatever the customer needs 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Basic computer skills
