The flat\, family-friendly course winds through downtown Louisville and into the surrounding neighborhoods.\n \n \n More:\n \n \n Donations will be given to the Sister Carmen Community Center\, a comprehensive assistance program for local families in need. \n \n\n \n Over the years the event has welcomed more than 25\,000 runners and collected over 40\,000 pounds of food as well as 4\,000 cubic feet of donated clothing.\n \n\n \n After crossing the finish line\, runners can meet some of the supporting local businesses and enjoy post-trot Liquid Mechanics beer\, Bittersweet coffee or hot chocolate.\n \n\n \n Registration is required at no cost at www.louisvilleturkeytrot.com.
