Description
Who: All are Welcome What: Jack's Benevolent Bash When: Sunday, August 2, 2015, 1-4pm Where: NEW LOCATION!! Koenig Alumni Center at CU Cost: $100 per ticket Hosted by: The Post Brewing Company Benefits: The Autism Society of Boulder County For the 4th year of Jack's Benevolent Bash, The Post Brewing Company's head chef and partner, Brett Smith, is gathering an all-star line up of restaurants and brewers to offer our guests spectacular food and drink to tantalize our taste buds and get us in the mood for giving for a great cause! KBCO Morning Show's, Bret Saunders will return this year as emcee, and the Adam Bodine Trio will provide live music. This event is to honor the memory of Jack Ferrigno, a young boy with autism who thought in colors and brightened the lives of those around him. Jack's parents, John Ferrigno, restaurateur and chef of ZoZo's in St. John, and Kelly Straub will attend this event to raise money for the Autism Society of Boulder County. Brett envisioned a camp grant program that would help people with autism access recreational and therapeutic opportunities that might expand their social skills and build their confidence while most importantly having fun. From his vision, ASBC created the Jack Ferrigno Send a Kid to Camp Program. Through the money raised, we have funded bike riding clinics, skateboarding clinics, ski and snowboard lessons and much much more. Families can also apply for money to pay for independent camp opportunities. This is one of our most popular and most appreciated programs, and the smiles on the kids' faces make it all worth it.
