Description
Beauty is freedom. Unfortunately, for 21 million people trapped in forced labor or sexual exploitation around the world, the brokenness of enslavement often remains long after physical liberation......
To take something that’s broken and make it whole. That’s our calling at Reintegra, a Lafayette based non-profit committed to helping restore survivors of human trafficking. Since our founding as a US non-profit two years ago, we’ve offered vocational training and social integration to seven survivors and counting.
Neli Delgado, one of our grant recipients, will be our special guest and will share her story of liberation from slavery, her path to healing and dreams for the future. Neli is a young business woman who graduated from Universidad La Salle in México City and travels extensively advocating against Human Trafficking. You will be inspired by her narrative.
This a FREE event open to anyone held at the lovely Rembrandt Yard in Boulder. (Because of subject matter, parental guidance is encouraged if you want to bring middle school or high school aged children.) Hearty hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided as well as an opportunity to participate in dreams of survivors. You can rsvp at http://evite.me/fayvcSHJfK and/or if you would like to help sponsor the event, contact andy@reintegra.org
